ZINES FOR TWEENS AND TEENS - JULY 2025

The four-day, three hour a day workshop is a Zine- Making workshop specifically made for ages 11-16 with main focus on photography. We will explore some terminology about the history of zines and their purpose, we will learn about photography and utilize different techniques and mediums: like polaroid, scanning images and incorporate art like drawing with different materials. My main goal is for them to explore, experiment and try to work on self discovery and self expression. I want them to learn this skill as a communicational medium to deepen their artistic voice and their uniqueness. All materials are included. They will use scanners, printers, cameras, the studio is located in Little River at Roberto Mata School of Photography.
