This intensive five-hour Introduction to Flash Photography in the Studio workshop is designed to equip photographers with essential flash lighting skills. Beginning with a technical overview of flash functionality, participants will delve into the mechanics of power settings, flash duration, sync speed, and modifier types, gaining control over each component of a lighting setup.
The workshop covers various configurations, from single-light setups to multi-light arrangements, addressing key techniques like feathering, rim lighting, and high-key and low-key effects. You’ll also learn to balance flash with ambient light, manipulate flash angles for precision, and create consistent exposures in challenging studio conditions.
Hands-on practice and live demonstrations will enhance your understanding of soft versus hard lighting, shaping shadows, and controlling highlights, all aimed at producing professional, polished results. Ideal for those new to studio work or seeking a technical refresh, this workshop is your foundation for confident, creative flash photography.
The first level has been designed for beginners that are ready to learn about digital photography. The program includes learning how to use the camera, types of lenses, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, depth of field, mistakes to avoid regarding exposure, visual perspective, and principles of composition. Students get the opportunity to work in the technical and conceptual aspects of photography, through lessons and practical exercises that are evaluated each week.
In Photography Basics II, we reinforce the knowledge gained in Basics I. We believe in continuous learning and in progressing with a strong technical and conceptual foundation.
This course is not only for those coming from Basics I, but also for self-taught photographers and anyone looking to reconnect with the act of photographing.
We explore documentary photography and visual storytelling as key components of photographic practice, while also introducing basic studio techniques using continuous light.
We review iconic photographers and strengthen the use of Lightroom Classic as a key tool in the photographic workflow.

Introduction to Videography (8 Hours)
An immersive one-day workshop for beginners ready to explore the fundamentals of video creation. You'll learn how to operate a camera, frame and compose shots, work with natural and artificial light, and capture movement with purpose. After a 45-minute lunch break, the afternoon focuses on basic editing—organizing footage, trimming clips, and building a cohesive, short sequence. Ideal for photographers, creatives, and anyone looking to start telling stories through video.
