FRONTERA DEL VIENTO /SPAIN-FRANCE
ROADTRIP, ETC. /OCT. 2Nd - 6TH. 2025
Some journeys are made with maps, others with instinct. La Frontera del Viento belongs to the second kind.
From October 2nd to 6th, we set off from Madrid without hurry but with great attention. Five days and four nights to explore landscapes you won’t find on postcards but that will stay etched in your memory forever. We will cross Navarra’s starlit nights, the endless forests and beaches of Les Landes, the quiet elegance of San Sebastián, and the timeless fields of Burgos.
The roads we travel are not the fastest, they cross stories. This is not a workshop. It’s a journey of slow roads, unexpected encounters, and photography as a way of being present. A tribute to the spirit of classic roadtrips, to Robert Frank, Walker Evans, Alec Soth, and Wim Wenders. A journey where there are no final destinations, only places where we stop.
No scripts. Only paths. And wind. Some journeys are made with maps, others with instinct. La Frontera del Viento belongs to the second kind.

Join a unique photographic experience designed to capture the extraordinary visual diversity between San Francisco and Yosemite National Park.
This road trip offers a carefully planned itinerary, with stops at key locations that range from the breathtaking natural landscapes of the Sierra Nevada and the rural scenes of the legendary American West, to the vibrant architecture of San Francisco. From long sunrise exposures in the foggy Golden Gate to minimalist compositions on lonely roads, each site has been selected to work with different photographic techniques and adapt to various lighting conditions.
In the Sierra Nevada, we will explore the majestic landscapes of Yosemite National Park, with its towering monoliths El Capitan and Half Dome reflected in the Merced River. We will also visit the remote ghost town of Bodie and the enigmatic Mono Lake, famous for its calcium carbonate formations known as tufa, among other natural wonders.
