LOCATION: ONSITE
INSTRUCTOR: SCOTT BRENNAN
LENGHT: 5 HOURS
SATURDAY august 8th
SCHEDULE: 5.00 pm / 10:00PM
Cities reveal themselves to photographers who slow down. Light, shadow, and careful observation can transform the ordinary into something unforgettable.
This workshop explores how composition, geometry, timing, and the changing quality of light can transform ordinary urban scenes into compelling photographs. During an evening photowalk through Miami’s Design District and along Biscayne Boulevard, participants will learn how changing light creates mood, tension, and visual drama while developing a more intentional way of seeing. After the walk, we’ll edit our images and conclude with a collaborative slideshow critique, discussing both the creative choices behind successful photographs and the many different ways photographers interpret the same urban environment. The emphasis is not on finding extraordinary subjects, but on recognizing the extraordinary possibilities that light reveals in everyday places.
